Candle Care

Caring for a candle is something many of us neglect; but for the candle to last, have proper burn time, and be worry free, it's important to follow a few tips.

-For new candles, wicks should be cut to 1/4" before lighting them.

-Candles should always be used on a level, fire resistant surface.  Make sure they are kept away from drafts (air vents, ceiling fans, etc)

-Keep the candle wax free of foreign objects (matches, wick trimmings, etc)

-Don't burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time; if left too long, this causes an excessive amount of liquid wax to accumulate in a jar and can lead to wick failure.

-Stop using the candle when only 1/4" of wax remains.

-Failure to maintain your wick at proper length could lead to excessive soot buildup and jar blackening around the rim.  This can easily be wiped off when your candle is cool to the touch.

-Candle labels may discolor as a result of thermal label properties.

-Candle burn times vary depending on specific usage.

-Some candles have decorative gems and twine.  Please remove prior to use.

ALWAYS BE SURE TO BURN WITHIN SIGHT.  KEEP AWAY FROM FLAMMABLE OBJECTS.  KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND PETS.
